The member groups and clubs that meet at the San Mateo Garden Center are the following:
Bay Area Hoya
This group is dedicated to creating a warm and civil environment for members to learn about the Hoya and Dischidia genera, through events and online discussions. We welcome anyone who lives in the United States, who'd like to learn and share their hoya experience with us!
A safe and inclusive space for collectors of rare tropical plants.
A gathering of representative members of local Garden Clubs
Focus on floral design. Regular meetings include presentations that are garden-related and field trips. CGC has been a garden club since 1959.

The Garden Study Club provides a forum for sharing of horticultural information and gardening experiences.
The Canvas Workers provides a group that enjoys creating fine canvas work, also known as needlepoint.

A group of orchid hobbyists who find joy in collecting and sharing cymbidium orchids with others.
The Hillsborough Garden Crafters was established in 1948. It's meetings include presentations on floral design, gardening in general, field trips and gaining further knowledge in the improvement of the advancement of sustainable gardening and its effect on the environment for the well-being of our community.
We are a group of local artists and hobbyists who meet once a month to pursue our art. We work in various painting media (including oil, acrylic and watercolor) and the photographic arts.
The Peninsula Orchid Society is a society of orchid enthusiasts and professional growers with members from around the San Francisco Bay area.

Sei Boku Bonsai Kai is proud of the enthusiasm and joy that bonsai provides for our members and the community. Conveniently located on the peninsula, south of San Francisco, we welcome anyone with interest in bonsai to attend our monthly meetings and join our club.
